Tokyo was fun. And great to be back after 15 (!) years. But it was really just a stop over on my way to the real reason for the trip. Having seen amazing tiny critters underwater in Indonesia last fall, I was back for more. Last time in Lembeh. This time in Raja Ampat. Last time tiny critters. This time, big critters and wide angle scenery.

It was my first time shooting wide angle underwater. Good thing I was on an Alex Mustard workshop to get up the learning curve. And boy, the other people on the workshop — gives you something to aspire to. Huge talent.

My first shot.

The corals were in great shape.  The sea fans were huge.  And I loved the snaggle toothed clams.
