The table got cleaned before so that we could eat all the little bites in spoons right off the table.  This time, no clean up.

Instead, for the first time in the evening, the table gets a covering.  A silicone table “cloth.”  And then a chef comes out and paints dessert onto it, pours liquid nitrogen in a chocolate sphere and then smashes it on the table.  Lots of little pieces, all good.  Toffee balls.  Super cooled Cotton Candy that will cause you to breath ‘fire.’  Butternut squash, lingonberry and stout ‘paint.’

Served with Domaine Madeloc ‘Robert Pages’ Banyuls NV.

Very cool the way the drops which you’d think would be round turn out square.  All drawn by hand.

Tired of the book?  Maybe you’d like to see the movie instead.  (Someone else’s movie.)
